Polylactic Acid (PLA) PLA is biodegradable and derived from renewable, organic sources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. (Please note that some biodegradable products may break more easily and/or experience more paint flaking.) It has a lower carbon footprint than many traditional plastics.

Our Bounce Curl Define Styling Brush is made with biodegradable components so we can reduce the use of plastic.
It is important to handle it with care during the cleaning process.
To gently clean the brush:
1. Remove hair from the bristles using your hands or a cleaning comb.
2. Spray with a cleanser such as alcohol, barbicide (for salons), or Bounce Curl Turmeric Purifying Hair & Scalp Mask.
3. Allow the disinfectant or cleaner to sit on the brush for up to 10 minutes, then rinse.
4. Allow the brush to air dry completely afterwards.
